You have chosen, dearest Jesus, to bless me by letting me live in the victory of Your return to heaven and Your entering into Your glory where You are seated in the place of honor next to the Father and where all the angels and powers and authorities are bowing before You. I take hold of my place in You, in victory with You over all the enemies of my soul. Blessed Holy Spirit, I pray that You would fill me. Come into my life. Break down everything that is more important to me than You are, and throw out everything that keeps me from worshipping only You.
I thank You, heavenly Father, for showing me in Your Word what You want for me everyday of my life. I ask You to do what You want for and with me today. Thank You for blessing me with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Thank You for making me Your child and for giving me a hope that never ends because You raised Jesus from the dead. Thank You that You have made it possible for me to live today filled with Your Spirit, with love and joy and self-control in my life. I know that You want me to be filled with the Holy Spirit, love, and joy. I know that You want me to be self-controlled. So I reject and resist everything Satan and his demons do to take away what You want for me. I use faith as a shield against the false guilt and lies Satan tries to put into my mind.
I do, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, give all of myself to You, giving up the fight against You, as a living and holy sacrifice. I choose not to copy the behavior and customs of this world. I choose to let You transform me into a new person by changing the way I think. I pray that You will show me what You want for me and help me to live just how You want me to live today in every way.
Thank You, heavenly Father, that the weapons of the war we fight are not human plans or methods but are Your mighty weapons to knock down the Devil's strongholds and to break down every proud argument that keeps people from knowing You, O God, and to conquer the rebellious ideas people have and to teach them to obey Christ. I trust and ask You to knock down the Devil's strongholds in my life and to smash the plans the Devil has made to destroy me. I trust and ask You to knock down the Devil's strongholds against my mind. I choose to think the way You think, blessed Holy Spirit. I know, heavenly Father, that You have not put fear in my spirit, but You have filled my spirit with power and love and the ability to think clearly. I trust and ask You to knock down and smash the Devil's strongholds that have been built against my emotions today. I give the way I feel to You. I trust and ask You to knock down the Devil's strongholds built against my will today. I give up what I want to You, and trust that You will help me to make the right choices. I trust and ask You to knock down the Devil's strongholds built against my body today. I give my body to You. I know that I am Your temple, and I am glad because You are full of mercy and goodness.
Heavenly Father, I pray that You would make me a new person by giving me Your life. Please show me how Satan is stopping me from growing in You, how he is tempting me to disobey, how he is lying to me, how he makes false copies of good things, and how he is twisting the truth. Help me to be the kind of person that makes You happy. Help my prayers to be daring and bold. Help my thinking to be daring and bold, and help me to have Your thoughts and think the way You think. Help me to make You more important than anything else in my life.
I ask You to forgive me and protect me because the Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood for me. I pray that You, blessed Holy Spirit, would give me what Jesus death on the cross did, what Jesus coming to life did, what Jesus entering His glory did, and what the gift of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost did. I give up my life to You. I refuse to be discouraged. You are the God who gives me hope. You have proven that You are all powerful by raising Jesus Christ from death. I take hold in every way of Your victory over all powers and armies of the enemy trying to do their work in my life, and I reject those forces.
All this I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ giving thanks in all things. Amen.
