My AeroSpace Collection

As the evening stars began to glow, we lay in chairs tipped back to the floor in front of the tall open french windows. We imagined the rumble and shake of the powerful engines that would lift us off the planet and propel us into the great beyond. We wore the mandatory eight layers of space suit-eight pants, eight shirts-and a makeshift helmet (the helmet was always the hardest part of the space suit to figure out).

Thus began my fascination with space and flight. Those boarding school days are long past. Now I live in California's Antelope Valley, the home of SR71's, US Space Shuttles, and B2 Bombers. Sometimes I still dream, as I did when a boy, of visiting the stars. More often I content my self with the pictures.

Here is part of the aerospace pics collection I aquired back in the days of the BBS (with thanks to Pegasus BBS EAFB [805] 258-5018.)
